The SPIDA is a PC based inspection and measurement tool with a high spec. colour camera and zoom lens giving magnification from 30X to 160X. Standard features are X, Y, Z and volume measurement, saving of data and pictures, SPC calculations on Z data,17" colour monitor and fine focus adjustment, semi-automatic Z measurement, 300mm x 300mm locking xy stage with fine adjustment, 700mm x 500mm granite base and 15" throat depth.

For ease of use with several production lines, data can be saved against any one of ten product types, any one of ten production lines and any one of ten SPC limits.

In addition to the standard x,y,z volume measurement facility described above, geometric functions are provided. These enable quick and easy measurement of circles, angles and irregular areas.  Saved data can easily be transferred in to Microsoft Excel or SPC programs.

Options include a mirror assembly for viewing subjects at an angle of 45deg. to enhance the versatility of the system.
