Solder Wave Optimiser
The Solder Wave Optimiser is a device for measuring and recording the
variables on a wave solder system such as Conveyor speed, Pre Heat Temperature
Profile, Conveyor to Wave Parallelism, PCB Immersion Depth, PCB Contact Time/Length.
It is mounted on a carrier board which is sent across the
machine in place of a normal pcb. Measured parameters can be viewed
immediately on the board lcd and / or downloaded to a PC for data manipulation
and archiving.
A typical application for the machine is process control of wave
soldering systems. The feature of immediate read out is a particular advantage
when machine adjustment is required.
The Reflow Optimiser is a low cost three channel temperature recorder for
measuring thermal profiles in reflow systems. Data can be viewed immediately on
exit from the reflo machine by connecting to a Solder Wave Optimiser lcd.
Alternatively data can be downloaded to a PC for manipulation and archiving.
As with the Solder Wave Optimiser, the Reflow Optimiser can store up to
four profiles before data download to a PC is necessary.
A typical application for the machine is for process control and profile set up of reflow
soldering systems.
